"I only have wonderful things to say about Sparkey. Our Sparkey has brought so much joy to our family. He has the sweetest personality and loves to be with us every minute. He loves to play with our son and also to be held and snuggled. Everywhere we go, people stop to tell us how cute he is. When they pet him, they can't believe how soft his fur is. It feels like silk. His check ups with the vet went well with no problems at all. He cuurently weights about 14 pounds and is almost 15" tall at the shoulder. It was such a pleasure dealing with Keith and Michelle. All of our questions were answered immediately and it was obvious to us how much they care about the puppies. Our experience with Allegheny Labradoodles was wonderful and we would recommend them highly."
Lucy's Owners, February 18, 2007
"Lucy is doing wonderfully and we are just nuts about her. She is smart, energetic, obedient, and so adorable. She was housebroken in a couple days, no problem. She loves her many, many toys, and sorts through her toy basket all the time to find just the right one to bring for you to throw for a game of fetch. She goes to the office with my husband when I'm not home, and her role there is Vice President in charge of Public Relations, a job for which she is well-suited.
She LOVES the snow; we call it "snowplowing" when she digs her nose into the snow and runs around, making a path through the white stuff. Then she looks up, and her muzzle is all white. So funny.
Okay, now. Hang on to your hat: Lucy weighs about 21 pounds, and she isn't even chubby! I'd describe her right now as lanky. I cannot believe Rocky is so small. Our girl is going to be around 30 pounds, we think. Fine with us; my husband, in particular, wasn't eager for a teeny dog. If I remember right, she was the biggest one in the litter?
We think she is the perfect combination of intelligence, obedience and playfulness. She wants very much to be a good listener. She is a great sleeper, unfussy eater, and happy ALL the time.
She's turned out to be more of a caramel than an apricot, we think. Her nose turned brown, and with each trim her fur lightens a bit more. Her ears appear to be darker, and I think she's going to look a lot like her mom, Sheila. Her fur is wavy and very easy to manage, I brush or comb her about once a week and I use texturizing scissors on her about once a month, because I like her to look shaggy. She's athletic and has a beautiful gait. Her body is well-proportioned, although she's leggy at the moment.
Her health is excellent. Most, if not all, of her new teeth are in, and they're gorgeous! Her eliminations are regular and without incident. She is happy and energetic, eats when she's hungry and sleeps whenever we do.
We found the whole process of acquiring Lucy to be a lovely experience. We were so pleased that she was raised in a home with a loving family, and that she was so very well socialized. We could see how well tended and nurtured these puppies were and that gave us confidence in our purchase. We enjoyed being able to meet her mother and the other puppies, also. We felt like we had a resource after our purchase, too, should we have questions or concerns.
Thank you so much for our wonderful little (okay, maybe not so little) girl."

Teddy's Owners, March 19, 2007
"Good things are worth waiting for... and our family is so pleased we delayed our puppy purchase until we found Allegheny Labradoodles and our beloved Teddy. He is the "rock star" of our neighborhood. He's a smart, loving, and a very well-behaved puppy. At 6 months old, he's was 14 lbs and 15 inches at the shoulder. His coat is a gorgeous wavy apricot fleece. He has a very regal bounce to his step when he walks, and loves to show off his athletic prowess. He's a great eater, sleeper, and very healthy. He was housebroken within days of his arrival. We love Teddy's size, his non-shedding hair, and his rarely heard bark. However, Teddy is special because of the nurturing that he's been shown since birth from Keith and Michelle and their kids. They were the perfect home to raise Teddy in his earliest days. They couldn't have been more attentive to our puppy or to our many inquiries about becoming first time dog owners. Keith and Michelle had been highly recommended by mutual acquaintances and it's a pleasure to give them our highest recommendation for anyone waiting for something really worth waiting for ... your own beloved puppy."
Marley's Owners, July 5, 2007
"Marley is growing more every day, and he is getting even more beautiful (If that is even possible). He looks like a real life teddy bear. People ask every day if he is real. Yesterday a cop gave me a double take while we sat in the parking lot because he thought that I was holding a big stuffed animal on my lap. He couldn’t believe that Marley was a puppy! I can’t tell you how thankful we are to you for giving us such a wonderful puppy. Everywhere (I mean everywhere!!) we go he is the center of attention. Not only is he the cutest puppy I have every seen, but he has the best temperament. He is so playful and fun, but he can also be very mellow and cuddly. He sleeps all night long in his crate next to our bed and in the morning I bring him in bed to snuggle. He lies on his back and loves to have his tummy rubbed. Everyone that meets Marley cannot believe how loving he is – he has to kiss everyone that he meets. I think this is a true testament to the breeding that you give these puppies. Everyone has asked where he came from and I am happy to tell them Allegheny Labradoodles. Thanks again for bring us together."
Zoey's Owners, February 3, 2008
"It's hard to believe that our precious little girl is almost one year old. Zoey has been such a wonderful addition to our family. Her gentle and loving personality is irresistible. She is always very eager to please and receive approval. Her quiet demeanor makes her a pleasure to have around. People are always commenting on how gentle, sweet & adorable she is. The kids love her more than we had hoped. Apprehensions that we might have had about the responsibility of a dog have been are erased when we see the joy and love in our children's eyes when they're with her. This entire experience has been beyond description. We extensively researched the "perfect" breed for our new family member. A miniature labradoodle seemed to fit all of our wishes. It was sheer luck that we found the Allegheny Labradoodles website a day after the second litter was born. It was an unforgettable experience for the entire family to watch these puppies grow and debate over which puppy we wanted as "ours." We anxiously waited for Mondays to look at the weekly update of pictures and weights. Michelle and Keith were awesome! They were so kind and patient with all of our questions and concerns. It's obvious that the puppies were raised in a loving home with children. We could not have chosen a better pet for our family. If we had to do it all over again, we would definitely use Allegheny Labradoodles."

Max's Owners, February 12, 2010
With Max's first birthday only a few weeks away, we wanted to send a letter to let you know how thrilled we are to have him in our home. Max is absolutely beautiful! He is 18 inches tall, weighs 23 pounds and has the softest wavy golden fleece coat you can imagine. To go with his looks he also has a fantastic personality. We were nervous about bringing a puppy into a hectic household with four children but Max did so well we are hoping to adopt a new puppy from you in the near future.
Max has blended in with the six of us in different ways. He just knows to play more with my husband and two older sons and to be more cuddly with my daughter and I. The most special relationship that has developed however, is between Max and my youngest son. My son was diagnosed three years ago with mild Pervasive Developmental Delay (he is on the autism spectrum) and profound Sensory Integration Disorder. The best way to describe this is that his brain can't handle the input from his 5 senses and he literally would shut down as a protective mechanism. He did not speak or gesture and did very little to communicate his basic needs as an infant and toddler. We were even told at one point that he was most likely deaf because he was so detached from the world. After extensive exams, we were given his diagnoses and he was placed in a special preschool to receive intensive speech therapy and sensory work. We knew a puppy could be hit or miss with him and I won't lie, the first few months were rough. We would hold Max and put my son's hand on him but he would pull away immediately. If the puppy barked, he would leave the room and he kept his door shut to keep Max out. Amazingly, over time Max and Andrew starting sitting near each other and now on top of each other. Andrew hugs Max constantly and laughs when Max licks his face. I could go on forever about how healthy Max has been for my son and our whole family but I think you get the idea. We are so happy to have found you and your breeding program and can't wait to bring home another addition to our family. THANK YOU!!!
