We are a small breeder, nestled in the Allegheny Mountains of Western Pennsylvania. We became completely enamored with the Australian Labradoodle when we got our Shiela. They are unlike any other dog we have had. The non-shedding coat was an important attribute that drew us to the breed, but even more than that was learning about how well they interact in a family setting.
Shiela has been a joy since the day we brought her home. We love her look and were interested in breeding her. With a great deal of support and guidance from our breeder and friends at Virginia Labradoodle as well as other breeders, we made the decision to breed Shiela. She blessed us with five litters and she now retired.
Breeding has become a passion for our entire family. We enjoy every aspect of it from the pregnancy to the sadness and joy we feel when the puppies go to their forever families.
We are carrying on this passion with our new additions, Melody and Angie. Both miniature girls had their first litters in August 2009.
We feel that having puppies raised in our home and reared with young children definitely benefits the puppies. They are well socialized and adapted to home life when they head to their new homes.
